Duties and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST/HST, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

All duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, handling fees, and other import-related charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Customs charges and import requirements vary by country and may depend on the contents, value, origin, and destination of the shipment. We cannot guarantee in advance what charges may be assessed by the destination country's customs authorities.

Customs Clearance

Once an order has been shipped, customs clearance is handled by the destination country's customs authorities and/or the shipping carrier. We cannot guarantee that an order will clear customs or be admitted into the destination country.

We are not responsible for customs delays, customs inspections, import restrictions, customs charges, brokerage fees, or an order being refused or denied entry by the destination country, provided that the shipment was properly prepared and declared based on the information available to us.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the items they order can legally be imported into their country and for paying all applicable duties, taxes, and import-related charges.

Refusal to Pay Duties or Taxes

If a buyer refuses delivery or refuses to pay duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges assessed by the destination country or shipping carrier, the shipment may be returned to the sender or otherwise handled as undeliverable by the postal service or carrier.

Refusing to pay customs charges does not guarantee that the package will be returned to us. Depending on the destination country's postal system, carrier, customs procedures, and the return address used, a refused or undeliverable package may be returned, held, abandoned, or otherwise disposed of.

Because we cannot guarantee that a refused shipment will successfully return to us, we cannot issue a refund for an order that has been refused or abandoned by the buyer unless the merchandise is successfully returned to us.

If the package is successfully returned to us, we may issue a refund for the merchandise after the package has been received and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and any return shipping, customs, brokerage, handling, storage, or other fees charged to us may be deducted from the refund.

Buyer Responsibility

By placing an international order, the buyer acknowledges that:

  • They are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and import-related charges.
  • They are responsible for complying with the import regulations of their country.
  • Customs clearance and delivery cannot be guaranteed.
  • Refusing to pay customs charges may result in the shipment being returned, held, abandoned, or otherwise disposed of.
  • A refund cannot be guaranteed if a shipment is refused or abandoned and the merchandise is not successfully returned to us.

We strongly recommend that buyers check their country's applicable import duties, taxes, and restrictions before placing an international order.
